Trauma-informed yoga is rooted in mindfulness, safe connection, the power of choice, and curiosity. These classes involves gentle exploration of the body through different movements with emphasis on how the poses feel, not look. My instructions are invitations, not requirements. You always have the choice to opt out of anything that doesn't feel supportive to your well-being (including closing your eyes).
